We are one of the leading manufacturer and supplier of high quality Jacketed Vessels of 1kl to 20kl. These are designed as per the industry standards and are manufactured using high grade material. These jacketed vessel that is one of the most important equipment of any chemical, food, drugs, dyes and allied industries, are available in different capacities, depending on the processing requirement of the client.Features:Excellent finishLong lastingExtensive price rangeTop quality raw materialQuality oriented.1) Description (What it is)Vertical, jacket‑optional, agitated mild‑steel reactor for general
Assumptions (if your service / process differs, tell me and I’ll adapt)Product volume = 5,000 L (5.0 m³) usable liquid volume (shell working volume).Fluid properties assumed = water-like: ρ ≈ 1000 kg/m³, viscosity ≈ water (adjust motor/impeller if fluid is viscous or abrasive).Vessel is vertical, cylindrical shell with dished heads (common for reactors).Operating conditions (default) = atmospheric process pressure (slightly positive/negative possible), process temperature up to 120 °C (designable for higher if you use steam). Jacket design example sized for steam service up to ~3 bar(g) if requested.Corrosion resistant service: SS 316L for wetted parts (common chemical choice). If chloride-free or less corrosive, SS316 OK; for stronger corrosion specify alloy (Hastelloy etc.).Design codes: follow ASME VIII Div.1 (or EN 13445 / Indian equivalent). Vendor to provide manufacturer’s certificates & NDT reports.Recommended overall geometry & quick estimate(choose a vendor-preferred exact dimension; these are engineering baseline numbers)Calculated examples for typical diameter choices; recommended baseline:Diameter (shell ID): 1.60 mCylindrical shell effective height: ~2.49 m (gives ≈5.0 m³ volume)Overall height (including heads, agitator, motor, stand): ≈ 3.5–4.2 m depending on head style & support.Quick rationale: for D = 1.6 m, H_cyl = V / (π D²/4) ≈ 2.487 m. H/D ≈ 1.55 (compact, practical for shop transport).Approximate stainless steel mass (order of magnitude)(rough engineering estimate for procurement budgeting)Shell area ≈ 12.5 m². With 6 mm shell thickness (example) the shell+heads stainless mass ≈ ~800–900 kg (excludes agitator, nozzles, manway, supports, motor, insulation). This is an estimate only — vendor will calculate exact mass from final thicknesses and head geometry.Materials of Construction (MOC)Wetted parts (shell, heads, agitator shaft, internal baffles/impellers): SS 316L (ASTM A240 / EN 10088).Jacket: same base material SS316L or SS304 for lower-corrosion jackets; jacket internal surfaces to be cleaned.Fasteners: SS316 where in contact with process; otherwise SS304 for non-wetted.Gaskets: PTFE or spiral wound based on temp/chem compatibility.Seals (agitator): Mechanical seal (single/dual) with graphite/SiC faces or PTFE lip seals for low-pressure, non-critical services. Use double mechanical seal if product toxicity/cross contamination is critical.Jacket options (choose one)1. Dimple jacket (most common) — formed dimples welded to shell, good heat transfer with small heating/cooling media volume, economical for 5 kL. Typical dimple sheet thickness 1.2–1.5 mm; dimple depth/spacing per vendor.2. Conventional jacket (full plate) — thicker plate welded, used for highpressure/steam.3. Half-pipe coil / external coil — for heavy duty heating/cooling, easier replacement/maintenance.4. Internal coil — limited cleaning access; rarely used if GMP hygiene required.Recommended for general chemical: dimple jacket designed for heating with steam up to 3 bar(g) or for glycol/water for cooling.acket design pressure: depends on heating medium. For steam heating to 150–170 °C, design jacket for 3.0–6.0 bar(g) (common: 3 bar(g) for 10 barg steam

Design pressure (vessel): Atmospheric to 0.5 bar(g) (for slight pressurization / nitrogen purge).
Full vacuum: Yes (opt., add stiffeners).
Jacket/coil design pressure: up to 4 bar(g) steam / 6 bar(g) water glycol (choose one).
Design temp: –10 to 150 °C (MS with lining/paint); higher with appropriate lining.
Corrosion allowance (CA): 1.5 mm (typical).
Code & inspection: Built to ASME Sec VIII Div.1 good engineering practice; hydrotested; standard NDT (see QA).

3) Principal Dimensions (typical)
Orientation: Vertical, on 3 or 4 pipe legs or skirt.
Shell ID: 1000 mm (±50).

Heads: 2:1 ellipsoidal (or torispherical) top & bottom.
Overall height (with drive & legs): ~2400–2600 mm.
Nozzle elevations: suited to site layout (see nozzle table below).

> If you prefer a slightly larger diameter (e.g., 1100–1200 mm), reduce straight height accordingly; performance is unchanged.
