  description• Purpose: A crude coconut oil storage tank is used to store oil safely before refining, filtering, packaging, or further processing in edible oil plants. It ensures hygienic handling and protects the product from contamination, moisture, and air exposure during storage and transfer.• Material: Fabricated from SS304 (AISI 304/SUS304) food-grade stainless steel. This grade is corrosion-resistant, non-reactive with oils, easy to sanitize, and widely accepted for edible oil and food processing applications. SS316L may be selected for higher corrosion resistance if required.• Capacity range: Available from 500 liters for small units to 50,000 liters (50 kL) or more for industrial facilities. Common sizes include 500 L, 1 kL, 2 kL, 5 kL, 10 kL, 20 kL, 30 kL, and 50 kL. Custom capacities can be manufactured as per plant needs.• Construction: Heavy-duty cylindrical shell with proper plate thickness, reinforced top and bottom, and sturdy legs or skirts. Fully welded design provides leak-proof performance and long service life.• Orientation: Vertical tanks are preferred for space saving and high storage volumes, while horizontal tanks are suitable for low-height areas and easier maintenance access.• Interior finish: Smooth or mirror-polished inner surface minimizes oil sticking, reduces bacterial growth, and simplifies cleaning. This maintains product purity and quality.• Bottom design: Conical or dish end bottom allows complete drainage of oil, minimizing residue, wastage, and cleaning time.• Top arrangement: Fixed roof or openable manhole with food-grade gasket for inspection, cleaning, and safe entry when required.• Standard fittings: Inlet, outlet, drain valve, vent, overflow, and sampling ports ensure smooth integration with pumps and pipelines.• Level monitoring: Sight glass, dipstick, or float-type level indicator helps track oil quantity and prevents overfilling.• Temperature control: Optional insulation jacket reduces heat loss.
